Machine Shop

At R&R Engine and Machine, our state-of-the-art machine shop is equipped with multiple work centers dedicated to fulfilling all your machining needs. We are committed to delivering precision, quality, and timely services to meet the requirements of your engines.

Crankshafts

We offer comprehensive services including Magnafluxing, straightening, welding, and grinding for crankshafts up to 118 inches in length. Additionally, we specialize in the rebuilding of industrial shafts and balancing of crankshafts, fans, and industrial shafts.

Blocks

Our machine shop houses four Boring Mills, designed to handle boring and honing ranging from 1.5 inches to 18.5 inches. We also provide installation of upper and lower repair sleeves, counterboring, machine decking, and align boring up to 120 inches in length.

Cylinder Heads

From air-cooled engines to the largest diesel and industrial engines, we offer installation of guides, seats, and valve jobs. Additionally, we provide pressure testing, welding, and surface refinishing using advanced methods such as PCD, CBN, and wet grinding.

Rods

We specialize in resizing, aligning, and pin bushing replacement on most types of connecting rods, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.

General Machining

Our range of general machining services includes flycutting pistons, rebuilding all types of axles and spindles, removal of broken bolts and taps, rebushing, rebuilding flywheels, and repair of overhead cam bores for automotive and diesel engines.

Welding

We offer Arc, Mig, and Tig welding services on cast iron and aluminum blocks and heads, ensuring sturdy and lasting repair work.

Cleaning

We use a variety of cleaning methods including jet washers, soak tanks for aluminum and cast iron parts, oven cleaning, and blasting to ensure that your engine components are thoroughly cleaned.
